About Awana
Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for ages 2 to 18 that actively involves parents and church leaders. Each week, more than 2 million children and youth, 330,000 volunteers and 260 field staff take part in Awana in 30,000 churches around the world. Offered through local churches, Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.

AWANA is a program for children, newborn through 12th Grade. The word AWANA is actually an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. Awana Clubs is an outreach ministry with the goal of reaching boys & girls with the Gospel of Christ & to train them to serve Him. It's an exciting time for clubbers & for you as you see children memorizing God's Word, hiding it in their hearts, (Psalm 119:11) & applying to their lives.
